He is presently working with Wildlife Institute of India in its project “conservation breeding of critically endangered bird Great Indian Bustard” as veterinary scientist ‘’ F‘, at  project site Sam, Jaisalmer (Rajasthan ).

He completed his Masters in Veterinary Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproduction from Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal science Bikaner (Rajasthan, India).

He served in Forest Department Government of Rajasthan as Wildlife Veterinarian in Machida Biological Park Jodhpur for 13 years (appx.). Apart from   his prime duty of treatment, vaccination and care taking of zoo animals, he was also in charge of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center. He has experience of dealing with more than 14000 critically injured free ranging wild animals at rescue center. 

He served as faculty of forest guard training school at Jodhpur.

Dr Shravan published 14 papers in International/National journals and presented    appximately15 papers in conferences and seminars.

He is also active member of several organizations working for welfare of  domestic and wild animals like Rajasthan Animal Husbandry Department, League for Pastoral Peoples Germany (LPPS, Pali),School of Desert Science, Marwar Rajput Sabha, Bishnoi Tiger Force etc.

He has hand reared many abundant newly born infants of Lion, Leopard, Wolf, Hyena Indian Civet, Indian Gazelle, Blackbuck, Monkey etc.

Dr. Shravan has experience of successful rescue and rehabilitation of several strayed Leopards, Sloth Bears and Tiger.

He had also taken Conservation Breeding Course from National Avian Center (NARC) Aabu Dhabi, UAE and is presently working with conservation breeding project for Indian Bustard and Lesser Florican, at Sam/Ramdeora/ Sokhaliya (Rajasthan, India) implemented  by Wildlife Institute India and Forest Department Government of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
