No. OAO/AECB/PT-EQP/YVJ/WII-05-06/24(1/05) published in Times of India on 7th August, 05, it may please be noted that (a) Foreign Vendors or their authorized agents in India can also participate (b) Last date for receipt of tenders at the Institute is 8th September, 05 instead of 2nd September, 05 (c) The revised terms & conditions along with the specifications of items may be down loaded from our web site, www.wii.gov.in or can be purchased from WII up to 8th September, 2005 (d) Some of the terms & conditions and technical specifications of items indented has been revised and this may please be noted before bidding and (c) Cost of Tender Document is US $ 15 or Indian Rupees 500/-.

TENDER NOTICE (Revised) Sealed Tenders are invited from Indian and foreign Vendors or their authorized Agents in India for the supply of equipment (1) Compass (See Through) - 50 Nos (2) Laser Range Finder - 50 Nos (3) Hand Held GPS - 25 Nos (4) Binoculars - 50 Nos. Tenderers may quote for one type of required equipment or more or for all, as the case may be. The tender is to be submitted under a `Two Bid System’ viz. ‘Technical Bid’ and ‘Financial Bid’ in two separate sealed envelopes and should accordingly be superscribed. Both the sealed envelopes should be kept in a third envelope on which it should be superscribed “TENDER FOR Equipment for ALL INDIA TIGER Population ESTIMATION - ACADEMIC CELL”. The Financial Bid will be opened only after the scrutiny of Technical Bid has been done and only for those bids that have been technically acceptable. Both the “Technical” and “Financial Bids” should reach the Office of the Director, Wildlife Institute of India, P.O. Box No. 18, Chandrabani, Dehra Dun – 248 001 by 1500 hrs on 8th September 2005. The “Technical Bid” will be opened on the same day at 1530 hrs. in the presence of vendors or their authorized representatives, who wish to be present. Details of the required Technical Specifications of the above equipment and terms & conditions may be obtained from the Cashier of the Institute against cash payment of Rs. 500/- towards cost of each Tender Form or can be down loaded from the Institute’s web site www.wii.gov.in. In case the Tender Documents are downloaded from the said website, a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- or US $ 15 (in case of foreign vendors) drawn in favour of Director, Wildlife Institute of India, payable at Dehra Dun, India should be attached with the Technical Bid . The last date for selling the Tender Documents is 7th September 2005 and that for submission of the Technical and Financial Bids along with an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of required amount is 8th September 2005 up to 1500 hrs.
