TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for
supply of Microprocessor controlled fully automatic bench
top autoclave. The tender is to be submitted under two
bid system viz. ‘Technical bid’ and ‘Commercial bid’ in two
separate sealed envelopes and should accordingly be
superscribed. Both the sealed envelopes should be kept in a
third envelope on which it should be superscribed ‘TENDER
FOR Microprocessor controlled fully automatic bench top
autoclave. The commercial bid will be opened only for
those bids that have been technically acceptable.
The technical and
commercial bids should be submitted to the Director,
Wildlife Institute of India, P.O. Box No. 18, Chandrabani,
Dehradun – 248 001 by 1500 hrs on 8th
November, 2004. Details of the required technical

and terms and conditions may be down loaded from the
Institute’s web site
www.wii.gov.in. The Director, Wildlife Institute of
India, Dehradun, reserves the right to reject any or all
tenders without assigning any reasons.

should operate automatically from water supply
to drying and completion, Should have automatic
internal steam temperature system, Should have
built-in display for sterilization temperature,
sterilization time and drying time, Should have
variable sterilization temperature from 121°C -
132°C in 1°C increment, Should have one-touch
sterilization course selection, Should be made
of SUS304 Stainless steel, Chamber capacity
should be of 16 litres, Water tank should be of
4 litres, Should have exterior lid system,
Should have pressure safety valve, electronic
limiter, limiter, temperature fuse, circuit
breaker, door switch and lid lock, time for
sterilization should be 10-90 min. (digital)
for drying 0-90 min, including accessories
needed for using DNA related work.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(1) Bidders must be
authorized dealers of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
A certificate to this effect should be enclosed.
(2) The rates should be
inclusive of taxes (excluding Sales Tax), levies, freight,
insurance, forwarding and installation for FOR, Wildlife
Institute of India, Dehradun incase uoted in Rupees or CIF
New Delhi for import. Sales Tax as applicable against Form
III-D will paid separately by the Institute. Rates are to
be quoted only in Commercial Bid, otherwise it will be
considered as invalid.
(3) The purchase of
Microprocessor controlled fully automatic bench top
autoclave
is against Central Excise Duty Exemption. The rate should
be quoted for the above item excluding Excise Duty in Indian
Rupees/Foreign Currency. The Institute would provide
Central Excise Duty Exemption Certificate and all other
necessary documents for availing Central Excise Duty
exemption.
(4) Detailed
specifications, catalogue/literature, authorization
certificate of all the items quoted should be supplied with
the technical bid. Bids incomplete in any respect are
liable to be rejected.
(5) The bidders must submit their company
profile, brochure, make and model of the
Microprocessor controlled fully automatic bench top
autoclave
to be supplied. A list of
Institutions/Universities/Organizations/Agencies along with
copies of the supply order to which the equipment has been
supplied must be sent along with the Technical Bid.
(6) The
Microprocessor controlled fully automatic bench top
autoclave
should be with onsite comprehensive warranty for a minimum
period of one year after satisfactory installation.
Authorized local distributors is required to provide Bank
Guarantee for 10% of the cost of equipment for the period of
the warranty to cover warranty obligations for imported
equipment.
(7) In case equipment is against Indian
Rupees
90% payment of the cost of
Microprocessor controlled fully automatic bench top
autoclave
will be made on receipt, acceptance and satisfactory
installation of Microprocessor
controlled fully automatic bench top autoclave
and balance 10% payment will be released against bank
guarantee of the same amount for the period of the warranty
to cover the warranty obligations.
(8) Each tenderer should
clearly specify that the tenderer agrees to abide by the
conditions of this tender document on their printed letter
head indicating hereon Sales Tax Registration, FAX, Email,
Telephone numbers, etc.
(9) It is to be noted that no negotiation
shall be made with Lowest (L-1) bidder so that quality of
the
Microprocessor controlled fully automatic
bench top autoclave
is not compromised.
(10) Director, WII,
Dehradun reserves the right to reject or accept any tender
without assigning any reason.
(11) In case of any
dispute, the Director, Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun
shall decide the issue and his decision will be final and
shall be the binding on the parties.
