One of the important objective of the National Wildlife Database is to develop a extensive bibliographic database on different aspects of wildlife science for the use in teaching and research.  Currently database is having more than 30 thousand references related to the Indian flora, fauna, socio-economics of people near protected areas, wildlife disease, conservation and management problems of protected areas of the country.  We have collected this information by consulting of books, monographs, research reports, management plans, Ph.D theses & dissertations, bibliographies, journals, periodicals and newsletters etc available mainly in the libraries of WII, ICFRE, Botanical Survey of India (BSI), Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) and Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS).  We are helping to the researchers, scientists, students, PA Managers, Planners etc by providing of this information.
