The Wildlife Institute of India requires a Technical Assistant (TA) on a consolidated salary of Rs. 6400/- per month for a period of 6 (six) months in the department of PMCR to help implementation of Monkey Management Strategy (MMS) to check depredation caused by rhesus monkey groups within the Institute’s campus at Chandrabani, Dehradun.  The position is purely temporary.

The essential and desirable qualifications are given below:

Essential Qualification: The candidate should possess a degree in M. Sc. (Zoology/Environmental Sciences/Wildlife Sciences) from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience of working with primate related field studies and knowledge of computer software.

Age: The candidate should not be more than 30 years of age at the time of making application for this position.  Upper age limit may be extended up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC.
